There is not alot to the Itanos archaelogical site but rather a few stones strewn around a nearby beach. By following the signs you come across an almost idyllic beach.

We got to Itanos, from Vai beach (2 min drive) mostly due to some location based game (not Pokémon) and boy, am I happy we did. The scenery is awsome and there are three sandy beaches close by, not at all crowded.
