Great experience and we'll be back! Showed up later in the day around closing time. We were greeted by a fine young gentlemen that was tidying up to close for the day, but he made the most his time for us. He was educated on his wines, knew exactly what he was talking about and more importantly made a great sales pitch to sell his wineries wines (His bosses should give him a raise!).
After doing our tasting and purchasing some of the wines we tried we were even given two full size wine glasses with the winery logo on it, a very nice touch.
Great job London Wine Company! Don't let the small wineries off the beaten path fool you, they are the ones working hardest to produce, sell and showcase their talents.

Brought a group of nine here for a stop on a wine tour and had an excellent time. The patio was super cute and we all enjoyed the London tasting flight. Bonus - there are a couple of super sweet kittys patrolling the grounds. A hidden gem.

Came to Aure Winery as part of a 43 person group wine tour in May 2016. We had an amazing tour of the grounds, with wine tasting in the vineyard, and dinner prepared at the winery. While that full-experience (dinner & tour) may not be part of the standard visit, I would highly recommend the wines at Aure as well! They have an assortment of delicious wines that are quite reasonably priced. The food was exceptional, and I'd recommend including that as part of your experience. We had the chance to sample a number of the available wines - I'd recommend the old vines marechal foch red wine. It was delightful! As a smaller winery, their supply is limited - so when you find something you like, buy it!

It's a lovely location, but the wines are not as good as those of many neighbouring wineries. The bistro looked like a good place to have a bite, but wasn't open when we were there.

This little out of the way winery at the very top of the Bench was quite a find. Along with a silo bistro, their wines do impress. The family is from Britain of all places which I don’t normally equate with wine making, but we had a great experience, talked horticulture with the father and the daughter took all the time in the world to chat with us about their product and philosophy. We came away with several bottles, especially a Rose that I found quite different.

The staff that work within the winery business are extremely knowledgeable about the wines, process and the eco bits about the winery. Just do not stop for the lunch.
The space that lunch is served is wonderful. The same staff serve that are knowledgeable about the wines serve the lunch. All of a sudden they seem to have no personalities and seem frantic. It is clear that the winery is attempting to save monies as the staff are not trained on being service staff. The food is just average. There is an attempt but there was just no flavour. The oddest thing about the lunch service is there was no wine sold during lunch. With our group they would have sold at least 1 or 2 glasses of wine. Maybe they could have done the tasting at the same time as lunch.

Thank you for taking the time to give Aure Wines your feed back. This is the first year our Bistro is open to the public and we appreciate all feed back. Since your visit, we have done an internal audit and a competitor audit to find areas we can improve in. As a result, we have done some modifications to our menu and internal procedures.
We are sorry to hear that our lunch service came short of your expectations. We love finding areas of continuous opportunity improvement. We would much appreciate for you to return to our bistro in the future and provide us with the opportunity to exceed your expectations.
Thank you,

off peak season, weekday, no problem if you're closed, I understand.
BUT leaving your sign as "open", and not removing the snow from your long driveway, means when your guests get stuck (in the middle of nowhere), and your doors are locked, and there's no one around to help... your guests leave reviews like this, encouraging others to AVOID your establishment.
next time? turn your sign to closed, we would have understood.

I love trying new wineries and was pleasantly surprised by this one only because I'd never heard of it before. This is a family-run winery and we were served by the owner's daughter.
A beautiful property and the wines are excellent. The highlights were the Old Vine Foch and the Cabernet Franc - a definite must try.

Wines were not bad but not excellent. Was expecting more from their cab franc. Staff was welcoming. Empty patio except us and very very very windy patio. Will not go back.

Charcuterie board was yummy. Server was very accommodating in finding out the name of the summer sausage maker.
Loved the pinot blanc and marechal foch.
