I found the waitress pretentious. The dining room was chilly. The service was efficient. Paying more than twice the price for their wine than I would to take it home was off-putting. I ordered the special surf and turf. Lobster was great. The steak, which I ordered med rare, was really raw. The waitress offered to have it put back... More

This winery not only has some of the best wines Niagara offers, but also a beautiful gift shop and beautiful large tasting bar, as well as an old Victorian home converted into a fine dining restaurant! It's grounds are bar none beautiful!!!!! After sipping wine and shopping the gift shop you must sit outside on the large restaurant deck and... More

Bought a 2002 bottle of Syrah for $19.95, typically I'm not a fan of Peninsula Ridge but thought perhaps I would keep an open mind and give it a try. Sadly the wine is corked and now we have no wine to go with our steak dinner. Very dissapointing.

This is our third time to Peninsula Ridge and it just keeps getting better. Ask for Tracey as your server - you won't be disappointed. Very passionate and very knowledgeable about the wines and the menu. There are many things we love about this restaurant. The food is so fresh and so full of flavour. The flavour doesn't come from... Very nice spot to do some tasting, comfortable but seemed to lack the personal touch. Large tasting area for groups.

Enjoyed a fantastic summer lunch on the patio, after touring the grounds and exploring the tasting room. Lunch was amazing! The entire party was thrilled with their menu choices. It was a very warm summer day however the umbrellas, the spectacular view and the gentle breeze brought it all together. A truly memorable occasion!

I was in a party of 4 and we all ate something different, from pizza & salad to burger and salmon - all meals were delicious! Unless you get there right when they open, I recommend making a reservation. Request a table outside, weather permitting - the view while dining is beautiful and can't be appreciated from inside. I'm glad... More

Stopped at Peninsula Ridge on the way home from Niagara Falls to sample some good Ontario reds and whites. A flight of 3 costs $5, and if wine is purchased, the $5 is forgiven. Good wines, very good cheeses on a cheese plate for 2. Took the samples and cheese outside to sit on the patio and enjoy the great... More

This is just a really nice winery. Great scenery and good wine too. This is a great spot to start on your way to Niagara on the Lake. There are a lot of great wineries in this area and this is one of them. If you're there around lunch time the restaurant is excellent. Overall just a great experience at... More
