I think we were lucky that there was almost no one there. It was really silent, which made it so great. Even though it was closed for a bit, we had an amazing walk around it and had a beautiful view of the lake.

Dont come here if you are expecting a Disney style feature. The charm is in the history and understanding how it happenned - it's captivating and worth a detour

This was by far the best thing we visited on the lake. Easy to get to via boat and impressive pictures can be taken from the water. Excellent gift shop!
