So this is not my first time here as I write this review.. It all started when I was in college way back 2012, it was our photography project where we need to have to take a good shot of nature anywhere we want. All my classmates declined to go here because they thought that it'll be boring but I... More

The best things in life are free! I didn't believe that till I got to visit Wawa in Rodriguez. It is a 10-minute walk from the Barangay Hall Parking area. And guests are free to swim (at your own risk coz the current is strong and the water is deep). Water is still very clean - mountaineers from the mountain... More

Sitio Wawa has become popular not just because it is closed to the towns and cities of Metro Manila, but the various activities and stunning views around the area that made it as one of the favorite destination. It was also considered as adventure paradise for adventure seekers, like mountaineers, bikers, rock climbers, spelunkers, runners and other outdoor activities and... More

The dam was so amazing to look at, with its flow of water and people who are enjoying the currents of the dam at their backs as if it's massaging their backs. The rock formations are astonishing because of their giganticity. The actual river was quite disappointing because there were residents who were washing their clothes in the river though... More

I loved this place because of its close proximity to the metropolis. This is a dam made during the American era. Nature lovers can easily experience the splendor of nature without the need for long travel from Manila. Take extra precautions when dipping into natural pool of the location. Safety is an issue regarding this place.

Took a day trip to Wawa Dam with my motorcycle group (about 200+ riders). Getting there was not much of a problem as the roads were relatively paved. Parking is somewhat of a hassle if you arrive late. trekking to the dam itself is a slow gradual paved climb but it can get narrow at times. Bikers usually carry their... More

Christmas Day 2016 was the day I picked to bike my way to Wawa Dam. I have not been to Rodriguez (the old name of Montalban where Wawa is located) since my high school days - decades, scores ago. That was in the early 60s when Wawa/.Montalban Dam has a raging river, boulders the siZe of mini mountains and drinkable... More

You'll reach the dam proper with a short walk through the village (and the heaps of garbage lining the streets). A quick photograph of the dam, as well as one of yours with the dam as the background, is pretty much everything you can do here. A photo-op at the ruined building is not a bad idea, as the window...
