This is more like a complex of churches all of different sizes which made for an exciting opportunity to capture great pictures. The grounds are nice and we found parking easy although in the winter I am sure very difficult.

If you are in the area of Tsaghgadzor, this monastery, with two chapels and a church, and a nearby cemetery chapel, is a must. You can either drive up to it, or if you are staying at the Marriott, you can walk up the road - a bit of a steep hike but worth the effort.

This old monastery is very nice! It's just few minutes walk from kecharis hotel. The structure if the church was preserved, so beautiful from outside and inside. We are so blessed to visit this place.

The architectural structure of this monastery is breathtaking and it's certainly worth a visit. During the warmer seasons, a hike in the surrounding area is definitely worth it.

Simply stunning architecture. Sadly we didn't stay very long as it was -4 degrees the day we visited and we had toddlers with us. But just walking through the door, you can really feel as you have stepped back in time. The lady in the gift shop was wonderful, she even gave my daughter an orange. I would love to... More

Two churches are on the way to ski resort in Tsakhkadzor. We were there in January- that was windy and snowy, but the place is good in general

This is a small complex, so you don't need a lot of time. There is some information posted, but I wish there was more. It's 3rd century and in great condition (it has been rebuilt a few times). Good for getting out of the hotel.
