This is a hidden gem. The place is testament to the ingenuity of the engineers of the early nineteenth century. It’s awesome. And run by friendly people.

We were looking for things to do in the area and Foxton Locks popped up on trip advisor. We were curious, so came to investigate. It’s a fascinating place, full of history and great way to show engineering in action to the children. Will be...More

Been coming since I was a little girl. Now I have grandchildren and love to bring them too. This beautiful place just gets better and better!

The restaurant, gift shops and portions of the walk-abouts are wheelchair accessible...however, many of the foot paths are not.

Are you traveling on the narrow boats? I would ask at the office - I'm sure they would give you the best answer and they seem to do everything they possibly can to help. Heck, we were so miserably lost, they came and got... More
