Was supposed to visit 2 waterfalls during my trip to Dalat but after this, we decided it should be one of the best, if not the best, already. We dropped by this waterfall on our way to Dalat from Mui Ne. At the carpark area,...More

After an hour of so of driving up, we finally reached the Pongour Falls. But you will have to walk down to reach the waterfall. There many stalls along the way selling all kinds of stuff from honey to souvenirs. I must say it’s a...More

This had to be my favorite waterfall that I saw in Da Lat given that I didn’t get a chance to see Elephant falls. Pongour was beautiful. They built stairs so it takes <10 min if you walk briskly but there’s also a cart that...More

I visited both Elephant Falls and Pongour. Pongour wins in so many ways! The cascading water, beauty of the location, ease of access and so few tourists! I think we were two of only 10 people there for the 2 hours we spent. If you...More

This are amazing waterfalls, the view are awesome, can get and wet yourself too. It’s really worth the drive from Dalat. I took a guide on a motorcycle for a day tour and asked him to get to this waterfall too

This place is much more nicer compared to Elephant Falls. There are some shops outside and inside and things to see along the way like free roaming chickens and areas to take photos. To get to the waterfalls you need to walk down a ramp...More

A very impressive waterfall. We drove on scooter from Da Lat after visiting Elephant falls (also a good waterfall) and the driving was fine if you are experienced on Vietnam roads. It's 200+ steps down to the waterfall which if youre in reasonable health and...More

Pongour Falls (1 Replies)
Hi, we are only in Dalat one day leaving at 4.00 in the afternoon. We want to go to Pongour Falls but don't want to ride a scooter ourselves. Any suggestions on how we can get there. If we hire a driver, how do we go about doing it and any ideas of cost. Thanks :)

We hired a driver and car in our guesthouse for about $50. If you are flying out i believe pongour is towards airport so you could do it on the way. Our $50 was a full day with Kho Coffee Farm, Pongour, Elephant Falls, temple next to Elephant, cricket farm, rice wine maker and a stop for lunch

Planning Dalat (3 Replies)
I will be in Dalat for 2 days and there are a few attractions that I would like to see in that time. However with limited time I want to make sure that I can see as many of those attractions as possible without running myself ragged etc. I haven't been able to find a map of Dalat and surrounding areas that shows exactly where the tourist attractions are, so I'm struggling to plan the most logical routes for what attractions to visit on what day and in what order etc. Any help with this...More

I have just spent 10 weeks in Dalat and find it the most delightful city. There are many attractions....The Crazy House, Prenn Waterfall is the best one, The Flower Gardens not to be missed. take the cable car the the Monestery which is a very nice place. Love Valley is lots of fun. Coffee by the lake. The small train goes from Dalat station to a huge pagoda and the trip is an eye opener to see a bit of the countryside on the way. Not much walking involved in any of these sights. The night...More
