About
The nature reserve protects over 72,000ha of unique forest and jungle habitat and is one of the most ecologically important areas in Vietnam. You could spend a day here or an entire week exploring the jungle, Tri An Lake and local rural area in this unique region of southern Vietnam. Local Vietnamese escaping the city have been visiting this region for a long time, however foreign tourists are still a very rare site. There are a number of activities that can be done in the reserve including mountain biking, hiking, camping and overnight stays in forest ranger stations, historic tours of famous war relics, fishing, boating and swimming in Tri An Lake, local homestays, visits to organic farms and tours showcasing everyday rural life in the Vietnamese countryside. Most actives and tours should be organized in advance, as tourism is still low in the area. Contact the nature reserve and they can assist with organizing customized day trips or multi-day tours to suite your interests.

What a wonderful trip! Thanks for guys who are working at the ecotourism center of the reserve gave us the best service during our trip. You're very friendly and humorous. Staying at spacious room, trekking in the jungle, breathe fresh air, taking a lot of photo of butterfly and enjoying wild vegetable... everything was great.
Can't wait to return... :)

We had a great time travelling around the nature reserve. It is super close to Ho Chi Min City, but miles away from the tourist bucket list... And I don't know why. The area is really beautiful with great forests, hills and wild animals. The roads are great quality and quiet for Vietnam. We rode bikes around the area for 5 days and felt like we were the only tourists around. We swam in the lakes, went off-road bike riding up and down rainforest clad mountains, met amazingly friendly locals, ate delicious foods, and drank cold beer at the end of each hot day. I hope others get to see this beautiful location before it becomes too touristy.

We went for a cycle trip through the reserve and got to experience the wonderful hospitality, culture and nature of the reserve and region. This really is a special part of Vietnam.
This place is perfect for those looking for something different away from the hoards of tourists. The great thing is that it's only a stones throw away from Ho Chi Minh City.

This place deserves recognition due to the simple fact that they are truly a nature reserve and the staff genuinely cares about the environment. It is the only one I have seen so far in my travels which doesn't put money first and nature second. You should call ahead and talk to the rangers beforehand.
