Our initial tour was Cliffs and Caves but the weather conditions were not in our favor so it was switch to the WIld Burren Tour. That day was the first day of our trip after a series of things not going according to plan. Patrick his team were life savers, they let us change our time to something alter when... More

Patrick met us at Lake Inchiquin, just the 2 of us. We were delighted. What a privilege. Patrick brought us on the Lake, up the river Fergus and to an ancient castle. Beautiful. He was able to tell us all about the history of the area and all about the flora and fauna etc. We would highly recommend North Clare... More

We met up with Patrick near a pub in Doolin where he waited for us with a bike for my wife and me. He drove us up to the starting point further up on of the mountain so as to avoid the worst climbs right away. We then cycled on an old beautiful road which brought us further up with... More

Met Patrick at the pier in Ballyvaughan had headed off for a wonderful few hours kayaking round the bay exploring. Patrick is very knowledgable about the local area and wild life and happy to impart his knowledge. Brilliant with kids of all ages. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Great day all round. Thanks Patrick.

Had a fantastic time with Patrick out on Ballyvaghan bay! He was very friendly and knowledgable about the surrounding area and nature. Educational, good exercise and we even saw some seals who were also very friendly.

I'd really recommend this even if you're not the outdoor adventure type. It's a relatively gentle way to explore a truly lovely part of the Irish coastline from the water. This part of Galway Bay is quite sheltered yet you do get to feel close to the seals and the seabirds. It's also great to see the Burren hills in... More

Our hotel (Wild Honey Inn - also a super place) recommended North Clare Sea Kayaking so we decided to give this a try. We all had a super time, myself, husband and two children (ages 10 & 12) are beginners although I was the only one who seemed a little nervous. I needn't have worried Patrick (owner and guide) was... We did the Wild Burren tour in the morning with a little group and we liked it a lot! Everything was perfect; the equipment, the company and the guiding of Patrick. He told us a lot of interesting facts about the wildlife and the area. We also had the chance to be surrounded by a couple of seals (even baby... More

Probably due to the bad weather, we were the only two on the tour. Which made a private tour :) Patrick was a great guide with interesting information about the environment and wildlife of the coastline. There were also 30-something seals that came to say hi !

Thank you for taking the time to write us about your experience on tour with us! Even though the weather has not been particularly kind right now, there is always an experience to be had on the Wild Burren Tour in Ballyvaughan - the seals are very curious and love to see the kayaks! Hope to see you again! Patrick... More

One of my most memorable experiences. This is a fantastic activity. We did the sunset paddle, takes just over two hours and starts just after 6pm. Patrick is a fantastic guy and knows his stuff and Lucian was also great. Both made sure everyone was safe whilst given the freedom to enjoy the experience. As a non swimmer I couldn't... More

Hi Michelle & Tim, We are so pleased to hear that you felt comfortable in the boats and on the tour even as a non-swimmer. We do have customers inquiring about the safety of the kayaks as non-swimmers, so it's great to have a solid response from a non-swimmer that it is safe and you felt safe. Please do let... More
