You can get to the cave and easily by walking through town which makes a refreshing change from hiring a motorbike or sitting on a bus. It is also reasonably priced at 20,000 VND per person. We arrived at 10am and were the only people there which was a bonus. The cave isn't over illuminated which makes it an interesting place to explore and there isn't a path that you must follow either which makes it more pleasant. After wandering around the cave we sat and read books for a while in the peace and quiet which was nice. On our way out we were invited to join the staff for lunch which was fantastic, they made us feel really welcome and it rounded off the visit perfectly.

We loved this border city after visiting Bac Son valley, the busy market was funny with a lot of stuffs. We loved the visit to Tam Thanh grotto and liked our Muong Thanh hotel, it was the best in town. Thanks Ethnic Voyage for organizing such a trip to the Far North of Vietnam

I live here. Whenever I have a guest from other city I would take them here to visit. Even I sometimes go here alone and enjoy the whole view all by myself. It is peaceful. The ticket costs 20.000vnd. The taxi fare from say Dong kinh market to the grotto is aprox 30.000vnd. If you need any help while saying here feel free to send me an email, I'd be more than happy to help. Tranthithuhang20@gmail.com

Grotto/stalactite cave with buddhist altars. Inside you can climb up to several beautiful viewpoints (from inside the grotto to the countryside outside). Mystic atmosphere. Moreover beautiful gate and entrance area.

This city isn't so crowded like Ha Noi. The destinations in it is also near to each others, that you can visit them easily. Besides, It takes you quite a little time and money to visit so these caves are not bad options/

This is definitely a must see destination in Lang Son. The cave is quite big and the stalagmite are beautiful. There are about 200 steps up and down around, the top of the grotto gives a lovely view of the surrounding area. The watch tower is another highlight to enjoy the statue of lady To Thi- of which the city is famous about

This is a very beautiful cave, also grotto and well worth a visit. On entering you will see a lotus basin that collects the 'pure' water from the ceiling of the cave. Put out you palm to receive your very own drops of this precious water. You can also take it out of the basin. Being in the northern part of Viet Nam in Lang Son province these caves are a given as the province is set in karstic limestone mountains and valleys. It is a very peaceful and tranquil place to visit and also makes for beautiful photos.
