31 July 2020; 4.30 PM Shuweihath Island is CLOSED for public. We reached very close to the view point. Unfortunately found NO ENTRY boards. You can't find this information or notice from the entrance of gutch road. Many small cars reached there through the bad road (below 20km/hr speed) and disappointed. Shops not available. You can get tea/snacks from Adnoc petrol pump before enter Shuweihath area. We moved to Jabal Dhanna beach for swimming and watching sunset. It was very beautiful experience.

Shuweihat Island has gorgeous rocky beaches and beautiful cliffs. Unfortunately all beaches have now been fenced off so you can only see them from a distance or if you are lucky enough to find a gap in a fence somewhere, like we did. It was a great way to spend an afternoon but be aware that the best views are not accessible anymore.

I would say this is one of the best places in the UAE to visit and have visited several times. Unfortunately, it is now fenced off to the public. Perhaps it became too well advertised and therefore too popular? Many people left garbage and did not respect the place and perhaps this is why it is now closed ? Maybe there is simply another access and I didn't know where to find it?

One who love the nature & photographic.Should visit this place at least once other vise it's will be a great loss . *We can go throw normal Vehicle but If you have off road vehicle it's will be more comfortable to reach that area. *There is not enough deep to swim in that sea but we can walk too long *While you walking in the sea the water level will be below your stomach. *There is too much Sharp Stone inside water (Be Careful) *If you have time to spend full day nd ni8 that will be better (There is no hotel near that island you should take the food items.otherwise you can cook there )

Can we have 6 on 5? This place is that good. Hidden gem gives you feel that you are not in uae. Lovely location for campers. Love every detail of the island. Just can't get over it from the time i went first. Great memories are made on sucha beautiful island. This place is out of the world. If you haven't been here yet you are missing something. 4hrs from Dubai. Need 4x4 just a little dunes. Rest all is smooth. You want believe what you see.
