Such a wonderful experience!

We were a very mixed group from those who had never sailed to one person who had sailed across the Atlantic four times and Pol was able to adjust the day to each of us simultaneously.

We were very well briefed before getting onto the boat so that we were organised and comfortable once on board.

I loved sitting on the wing watching the scenery and sparkling water go by whilst my husband learnt about the mechanics of the boat.

There were a lot of fish to see and Pol guided people to the best spots. No shortage of time for snorkeling either.

A delicious organic lunch and lovely rum punch.

People had the opportunity to take part in the sailing as much as they wished.

Pol has a very inclusive attitude to his trips. I am visually impaired and it was important to Pol that I enjoyed the day. I always felt safe and never rushed.

Madisail is a wonderful experience! Thank you to Pol and his family and our fellow travellers for a great day.

Beautiful slow travel experience on a special katamaran woth an amazing captain Paul. It was our first sailing experience and we could not habe met it better. Paul let everyone steer the boat, gave great information about the island (for us seperately in english even though we were the only ones not speaking french 🙏🏼). Lunch and snorkeling were fabulous too. It was an amazing slow travel big memories day for us. Thank you Paul! ❤️

This little sailing voyage was fantastic and pretty high on my list of the best experiences of my life. The boat is a Trimaran; super stable, comfortable, and fast. These boats are not common, so this is a truly unique opportunity. Pol, the captain, was very kind, thoughtful, and fun. He went out of his way to make sure everyone's needs were catered to. The food served aboard was fantastic, and sadly the best we have had thus far in Martinique (very bad luck). We learned alot, laughed alot, and had a blast. It should be at the top of anyone's to do list while visiting this beautiful island.

Even if perfection has to be seek in all the imperfection of our lives, we try hard to have an every day perfect day in Madisail. Your words show that it works well, and we are very glad of it.

We cannot give a review of the boat tour itself, as it did not take place despite a firm booking. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the way communication was handled. Two days before the trip, we were informed that the tour had to be brought forward by one day (without giving any reason) and asked if that was okay with us. However, as that day was already planned for another activity, we had to say no. We were only given a half-hearted expression of regret; when we asked again whether the tour had now been cancelled for good or could still take place on the planned date, we did not receive another answer.

If you do nothing else on Martinique, you MUST sail with Pol. There is nothing better and I tried them all. He is fabulous, Jessica makes an incredible lunch served after a sail and snorkeling in a private cove. Get ready for one on one attention as if you chartered your own boat. This experience truly was the best of Martinique!!!

Our family spent a week in Martinique, and managed to see and do a number of very enjoyable things, but this was easily the highlight of our trip. Madisail is very well organized and run, thanks to Jessica and Pol. We went out with 7 family members on the amazing Fildou, which is the beautiful orange boat, and were quite comfortable the entire day. Our trip included very beautiful, scenic sailing to a very clear cove where we were able to swim, snorkel, have lunch and generally enjoy the boat and beautiful weather.

When sailing to and from our snorkeling spot, Pol, after a very good safety rundown, helped me to sail the boat and also took pictures for us as we went. (He also did this on the return journey with one of our other passengers.) Pol spoke very good English, so this helped us quite a bit. Once at our snorkeling stop, Pol provided gear and guided us to see some beautiful fish and marine life, before a very good lunch break (very fresh and expertly prepared by Jessica).

Aside from all of this, Pol is highly accomplished, brings the adventure to life and is generally a very cool, fun guy. I would definitely like to do this again and can't recommend it enough!

Andrew ! Thank you so much for your review. Pol always say : what is important is not the boat ( yes in this case, a beautiful one) , or where we are ( yes in this case, one of the beautifulest bay of the world ) --> what is important, is people, and love we share. When I read you, I think his mission is quite a success ;) Hope you'll come back! See you. Jessica

I use to race on sail boats years ago but had not sailed for many years. We were stopping in Martinique on our cruise and my wife found Madisail. The tour times they offered did not fit with our ship time so I emailed them. They were able to accommodate us and arrange for ship pickup and return. This was an incredible day. Only my wife and I and Pol on this amazing sailboat that is extremely fast(by sailing standards)for the entire day. We sailed then dropped anchor and snorkeled off a small island with nobody else there. A fantastic lunch and some wine. It could not have been better and worth every penny.

Do you like to feel the salt spray on your face and the breeze thru your hair? Do you like this in the company of a few good people, instead of a big crowded boat with the raucous and rowdy party crowd?
Then a day with Madisail is for you! I had never been sailing on a trimaran, and did not know what to expect. There were 6 of us on the boat and we helped hoist the sails. My partner steered the boat for a significant part of the morning. Participation as a sailor was not mandatory, but you are invited to do so.
We received some dialogue (in English) throughout the day of history of sites in the near distance that we passed along the way. For those of you who are concerned, he captain’s command of English is quite good.
We stopped to snorkel at midday…which was terrific! Equipment was provided. The colorful fish and plants, the calm waters near the shore, all were beautiful and serene. Then a fresh lunch, with fresh veg and fresh tuna on the boat.
This boating excursion with Madisail was the most relaxing and fun thing I have done in a very long time. The Captain and Jessica have a good thing going and I highly recommend that you join in.

Hey Gerard, this is why we call our day in french "journée ZEN", because of the nature, quiteness of underwater, and furthermore gliding sensation of the boat riding the sea... It's a kind of meditation with our mother earth !

Three generations of our family (ages 15-late 60s) enjoyed a full day sail with Madisail. It was definitely the highlight of our week in Martinique.

Jessica is very accommodating with helping to make arrangements and Paul was a TERRIFIC captain who made all passengers feel comfortable on our journey and taught us all a lot about Martinique during the trip. After loading up onto Filidou (orange boat) and safety meeting, we sailed for couple hours, stopped for swimming, snorkeling, and lunch, and then sailed back. Paul let some of our passengers steer the boat, ensured everyone was comfortable, took pictures, and explained everything to us in English (which was helpful since our French was not so good).

Jessica prepared our lunch was a delicious, locally sourced, fresh tuna salad, with wine, rum punch (or fruit punch if you prefer).

What an incredible trip! Highly recommend for any group of 4-8 people looking for an adventure that will provide a customized and unique perspective of Martinique.

Captain was terribly rude, vessel antiquated , and refused to adhere to the advertised 6 hour cruise. Refused refund, as well. Do not book, waste of time and money.
