Water Castle with Coypus at the River

Known as the Water Castle Svihov, surrounded by flowing water around the castle. The river is nice and this summer 2016 I saw several coypus on the river. You can rent a small boat and paddling all around the river by the castle or have a trip inside the castle. There are yearly performances or festivals that you can see as well, especially in Summer. Friendly waitresses at the tavern by the castle.

The outside is better than the inside...

Although we did enjoy going on a tour within the castle, the outside is much more impressive and enjoyable. You really get to see the scope of the castle and see how imposing it looks. There are water features all around the castle, so you can feed the ducks, and if you're lucky even see some otters. The food place inside the castle is pretty good and serves decent food, especially welcome on cold/wet days.
