Nice excursion, informative interesting especially for teens. Total about 10 km walk, beware one needs to pass narrow place about 50 cm, otherwise you need to wait 15 minutes till others are back.

Vincent was a brilliant guide who went out of his way to explain things in English. 3 hours well spent. Our teenage daughter loved the experience and we all learnt a lot. Fascinating exploring in tunnels created by the volcano just above.

Hello Jean, Yes you can visit the lava tubes on your own but you need to have the equipement of caving (helmet + 2 headlamps + baterries for each person) For the guided visits it's 50 euros/pers Best regards Vincent
