This wide area is simply amazing, you will not believe your eyes... All through the seafront road leading to Saint Philippe, lava flows made the landscape a sort of lunar environment. Of course this attraction is a must if you are at La Réunion, since there are not many places like this in the world. More incredible is what you... More

No better way to do it than with Roby and Fred - They know what they are talking about, they are very safety conscious and they have a great sense of humor. Don't worry about being cold in there, you won't . You do not need to be sporty, just prepared to be amazed . Not something to be missed... More

This incredible thing to do is really a must go in Ile de la Réunion. The guides are amazing, professional and super friendly. Even with childeren (my son was 12y) it is worthwhile and not difficult.

This is a fabulous way to discover another side of volcanos. Robi our qualified guide led us (a small group of six) through the tunnels, gave plenty of facts and shared his passion for the underground world. Helmet, knee pads and gloves are provided and prove to be useful to crawl in some parts. But you can walk and stand... More

These tunnels were formed by top , slow moving lava becoming hard and warm lava sliding through, forming tunnels ...in my words...We were so very fortunate to have FRED MELON as our guide. He was one of the guys discovering these tunnels 11years ago. His passion was contageous and we as a family had a remarkable experience crawling and walking... More

We met at a roadside pull in at 8:30am and were met by Fred and Tomas (Tomas spoke English) we kitted up in helmets, knee pads and gloves and we were off over the lava fields of 2004. Tomas did a wonderful job in translating the geological information about the place and the features in the tunnels. You get chance... More

I had no idea that hess things existed in Reunion and the tubes are amazing. You get a real insight to the recent activity and how these tubes are formed. We had a great guide, who spoke good English, and had a great half day of crawling, sliding dipping and walking through the tubes. You can go on longer trips,... More
