Lovely, small, authentic, romantic. A lot of adjectives to describe a village which is often forgotten when people go to the much more known village of Milina. Just turn next to the little canal and park at the sea and enjoy the silence and the beauty of this little gem.

Very nice nature area. excelent food. very nice beaches, nice people. The hotel that we took was a very good choice. We recommend to travel along the beaches, pick the old train but drive carefully in the curvy roads. We travelled durin the summer and the weather was a bit cool which is good but be prepared with appropriate closes.

Horto is so beautiful. It is tranquil and a great place to relax or stroll along the waterfront where there are a few excellent tavernas. The views across the gulf and down to Trikeri on the end of the peninsula are breathtaking.

The buildings were very attractive examples of traditional local vernacular architecture - with one very unfortunate concrete monstrosity built in the 1970s. It also benefits from being slightly off... More

Horto is a couple of kms before Milina and I included it in my 16 day tour to Pelion. I had never expected it to be so beautiful. Both Horto and Milina are embedded into green landscape but quite different from the mountainous Pelion. Here you will see plenty of silver-shining olive groves. There is a small mooring upon entering... More

Very picturesque village near the beach in Pagasitikos Gulf. Worth a visit. On the way you will find some truly amazing beaches really ideal for a swim!
