It’s a new activity that we brought to the island. It’s easy, very inclusive as anyone who can walk can easily get on the board. It empowers the kids because they can get on it easily. Our oldest rider by far is 75 years old and he had lots of fun. The board is very safe, very balanced and easy but with the cardio benefits.

When we went here in September, waves are waist high, and it was the most dangerous boat ride we've ever had. I can't count the number of times when the boat almost turned upside down. If planning to visit during rainy season, it's best to call the local coast guard first to ensure your safety (or don't go instead). Locals are very friendly though. You'll find group of birds trying to catch fishes near the shore. Water is very clear. We aren't able to see the sand bar due to bad weather and high tide. We tried hiking but it rained while we're in the middle and it becomes more dangerous when the wind started to blow. But the view of the island from the top is great.

Hi Prncssvera, Sorry to hear that, sometimes it's really like that; most of the times it'sreally easy and calm to go there, even rainy days. Best time to go there if the weather is northwest moonsoon or they we often called it " Amihan" in tagalog or local dialect. Best time to go there is from February to May. But still accessible every time, except if there's a typhoon. Thank you anyways for dropping to our humble Island, see you next time again.

It can be reached by about 15mins boat ride from the City. We planned for a day tour only and we were absolutely stunned by its beauty. Managed to trek on top of the hill with a tour guide (a-must). Mesmerized by the magnificent view on top of the hill, saw the critically endangered "Pitcher Plant". Beach is absolutely fantastic with its clean and clear blue water, fine white sand and perfect sand bank. We brought our own food for the day trip but there are available shops that sells fresh catch of the day. Cottages were available for rent and outdoor grills if you plan to have a barbecue party. The whole island is very clean and well protected by the community. A Must-see when in Culasi Antique.

This is no mainstream destination yet offers a breath taking view of the sea and the mountain. The boat ride is still P750 and you get it from the local tourism office. Cottage is P300 when you get it from the barangay. The Kawit sand bar is white and beautiful. I like to commend how the locals are preserving the environment. They know how to segregate their garbage and says no to single use plastic. Good job!

We stayed overnight in the orange cottages. Who is the owner called her Nanay (old woman) she is so nice and kind and approachable but the owner of the other cottages both side because we are in the middle look like they really don’t want tourist. They start to paint with really smelly paint just behind our cottages in the night just when we are having our dinner. We tried to move little bit more far to get little bit of fresh air and then they bring back the paint close were we seating just to annoy us. In the morning the same person who paint in the night start very very loud music already at 5:45... We really don’t understand the reason of this behavior because we didn’t talk or deal with no one else that nanay. Our plan was to stay longer but at 8am we decided to go back to mainland and continue our vacation somewhere else. It was indeed a very bad experience.
