A beautiful oasis
May 2021
I have now been here twice, first time to see the carpet of white woodland Anenomies and then again for the bluebells.
This is well organised with plenty of parking and picnic space but you do have to pre-book. The staff are all volunteers and doing a fab job.
The path is level and not particularly muddy or water logged. There are plenty of benches to sit and rest or take it in the woodland beauty.
There are a couple of ponds and just the sound of birds.

Magical!
May 2021
What a jem of a place. The blue bell walk was amazing, it was peaceful and the sun was shining. A haven of rest. I have never seen such a beautiful carpet of bluebells.

I have a mobility problem and found it very easy to walk round. Plenty of benches to sit on. Definitely recommend it.

Sheer beauty, Peace and tranquiluty.
Nov 2019 • Couples
Relax and be mindful , this beautiful tranquil woodland is here for us all thanks to the dedication by John, his family and helpers.
Take time to slowly absorb the nature and all its occupants. I could happily live in the woods and be at home with every plant, flower, wildlife and insects.
Sit quietly, listen and absorb everything.
I cannot wait to be there again.
So many charities are helped and appreciative.
Sheer bliss .
Thank you.

a balm for the spirit
Nov 2019
The Bluebell Wood is a calming balm for the spirit at difficult times. Choose your moment, when the bluebells are fully opened, and you will emerge refreshed from the experience. We have been going on this walk for many years and it has been consistently enhanced. It supports many local charities. Refreshments are a bonus. We take out a membership and visit on multiple occasions.

May 2020 • Solo
I have been attending the Bluebell walk for a number of years now & apart from the stunning Wood Anemones and Bluebells , it is a Great place to meet people and support the local charities that are present during the 5 weeks or so that the walk is open .
Excellent refreshments available in the barn which are served by the charities taking part .
All in all , Cannot wait for next season all being well !
Highly recommend !!

Delightful walks and food
May 2019
We visited today with our dog. The bluebells are beginning to go over now but we expected this as we had checked the website where the organisers post regular updates. There is still enough blue to make it an enjoyable walk through the trees and beyond. There is a selection of lengths of walk to take, with information boards along the way and the numbered route posts make sure you don’t get lost! In previous years we have taken the longest route, this year we took a shorter route ( dog recovering from leg sprain) and we walked through some pretty areas that we had not seen before. After the walk we had a lovely lunch in the dog friendly canteen. We had ploughman’s. There is a good selection of basic lunches and a good choice of cakes to restore those lost calories. The food was fresh and tasty. All the staff/volunteers are friendly and the service was excellent. We are looking forward to going next year.

Beautiful accessible country walk for charities
Apr 2019 • Solo
The Arlington Bluebell walk happens each year in the spring. I first took my children a generation ago, and the paths have been developed and improved since then. It is now accessible to pushchairs and mobility vehicles as well as walkers. Many charities have 2 days each to run the walk and provide and sell refreshments in the barn. This is a great community event allowing the public to enjoy beautiful woodland and countryside while benefiting charities. Long may it continue!

Thank you for your kind review and that over the years you notice how we try and make improvements. Delighted to say that my daughters and their husbands are in the Bluebell Walk Partnership, so when the time eventually comes, I am confident that my legacy will be carried forward.

Great walk in a lovely area, all for charity.
May 2019 • Family
Good for an afternoon out. Various length walks are well laid out and you are given a map showing routes. Lambs and goats to see and touch for children, a lovely and very reasonable tea room with home made cakes and drinks at a very reasonable price. A great way to support local charities.
