The morning was atrocious and required a walk back to the hotel and some severe drying out, however, all changed in the afternoon. Drove from Barmouth via the main road and skipped the Penmaenpool bridge. Got to a place some way from the lakes where...More

We followed the walk described on the map in the car park. Heading right out of the car park. The first half was on road, but there are very few cars, and anyone who drives up here is bound to be slow and considerate for...More

We stayed at Graig Wen & The Slate Shed accommodation, very close by, in Arthog. We were in a cottage but they do have camping pitches, some with electric hook ups. It's a lovely place, Sarah, the owner is lovely.
