About
The Chamber of Mysteries is Malta's exclusive nightlife event for those seeking something unique and different to explore whilst visiting Malta! Enjoy a great night out with a live performance in one of Malta's unique venues. The performance is set in a secret chamber within an authentic 18th century building built by the Knights of St John. On Wednesday nights, a live Maltese Folk show is offered before in the main courtyard of this time begone building before the main performance, The main performance, which is held in a secret chamber, consists of top entertainment combined with comedy, humour, illusion, magic, mind reading and other amazing feats that defy explanation. The intimate setting offers comfortable seating with excellent viewing from any seat making this a personal and unique experience for all those attending. Seating for the main performance is extremely limited and exclusively available to just about 2-3 dozen people at a time. The main show is presented by top award winning magicians and is an unforgettable night out whilst in Malta and not to be missed. Transport and other all inclusive packages are available.

I booked having read the reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed.
I caught the bus from Valletta and found the venue easily with Google maps.
I was met by Lola on arrival and she explained that I was the only one dining but there were a few others coming later for the show. She introduced me to Henry in the restaurant and said she’d come and get me 5 minutes before the show.
Henry showed me to my seat and was a great waiter. I was dining alone and when he saw the man on the table had moved his chair and was blocking my view to the room, he asked him to move.
I chose the rabbit spaghetti dish and wasn’t disappointed, the beef stew was not so great but the dessert was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great with lots of locals out with friends, family and work colleagues.
Brian and Lola do their magic show in a room upstairs, they are getting shows going again after covid. The audience was small, me, a polish family and a French couple. It could have been awkward but Brian and Lola were great hosts and performers and everyone was genuinely entertained. Every time I thought I’d worked out how trick was done there was another twist. A great night’s entertainment.
Getting back to Valletta was fine too, I followed Google map instructions and caught bus again.

The show and food were a wonderful addition to our trip. The dinner was the best food we ate in 6 days(we had a terrible time finding good meals in Malta!). The show was very well done and included all the members of the audience, which, granted, was small. We enjoyed it and the venue itself.
One word of advice- we took a cab from our hotel in Valetta. The first cab took nearly 30 minutes to arrive using the "freeway" and streets. He couldn't find the address and finally dropped us on what turned out to be the back street. We had to call and the magician's assistant/wife came out and guided us to the front door. She was very nice. The cab that took us back got us there in 15 minutes simply using city streets!

Food was amazing and you can find my review under 1743 Razzett I Antik, Qormi.
Brian and Lola are an amazing talented couple who were born to be on stage! The show itself was an intimate experience with 5 couples in total in a small staged area. The show had us laughing, clapping and amazed at every point along the way. Brian included everyone in some part or another in the show and this meant you could see the tricks really up close.
I would recommend everyone see a show while visiting Malta, you will not be disappointed! I will definitely go again!

Always the best show in Malta. This is our second time in 10 years and Brian and Lola never disappoint. Fantastic performances, in a historic and mysterious theatre, tons of audience participation (its a small, intimate theatre and Brian usually gets every person involved), a perfect night for young and old alike!

Happened upon this advertised on www. visitmalta.com
Was intrigued by the description so quickly booked for the only Available date during our trip. Transport from hotel dinner and show in the all Inclusive price which was excellent value for money. We had an intimate show for 4 the other couple we net in the taxi on the way had a wonderful evening with amazing close up magic and illusions we all took part and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing which was incredible we could not work how the tracks were done at all particularly the jacket swop and Houdini homage finale the metamorphosis x well done Brian and Lola very engaging hosts who could not be a nicer couple and made some new friends who we really enjoyed the night with xx

We went last week. Amazing tricks and you can choose to fully get involved in one of 4 or 5 tricks too. We just went for the show not the dinner but loved the show!! We spoke to Lola (the assistant) before the show and both magicians at the end of the show. Lovely people!! Highly recommend. Me and my partner loved it.

This is our 2nd time to see their show in a few yrs..
Show was different to previous time , nice that it was changed, not like so many other shows where they never update..
Loudes and her partner are great, they are very welcoming and try to include most of the audience in their act.
The show itself was great; l even tried to spot how some of the illusions were done but couldn't..very professionally done.
They are happy to have a chat and pose for a photo after the show as well..such nice people..
Do go there and check out the show , you will be glad you did , one of the best shows in Malta...

We booked after browsing Trip Advisor and seeing the great reviews. Communication was superb from the offset and as promised a taxi arrived promptly from our hotel to take us to the beautiful venue - a stunning courtyard with a sliding roof. The food was delicious, something for everyone and the wine plentiful. The meal served by attentive, helpful staff was in my opinion worth the price of the ticket alone.
After introduction we were escorted by Lola to the Chamber which was just upstairs - a nice personal touch I thought. The Chamber itself is an intimate auditorium, filled with eerie music, decorated with magical trinkets and a Houdini wall hanging setting the scene perfectly.
Brian was everything you'd want your evening entertainer/magician to be: engaging and funny with plenty jaw-on-the-floor "How did he do that!" moments, expertly assisted by the beautiful Lola. With opportunities for audience participation, a usually shy me felt compelled to join in thanks to the intimacy of the venue (....and perhaps the wine helped!)
I've been lucky enough to see Derren Brown back home in London but in many ways I much preferred the Chamber of Mysteries. Performing illusions so close-up (particularly multi-lingual as was the case on the evening we attended) whilst keeping everyone's attention takes much talent. Something Brian and Lola possess twofold.
If I'm ever lucky enough to visit the beautiful island of Malta again in my lifetime, going back to the Chamber of Mysteries will be on the top of my list of things to do. Well - that's providing Brian & Lola haven't secured a Vegas residency by then ...and to be honest, I really wouldn't be surprised! :)

We found this attraction by looking on trip advisor as we always find evening entertaiment in hotels rubbish.The reviews were all very good so we booked it online before leaving the UK. We booked the Maltese evening as the menu was intresting with lots of local dishes and had traditional music and dancing as well as the magic show, we were not dissapointed the meal was fantastic lots of small nibbles for starters around 13 indvidual things to sample main course just as impressive and 6 small desserts what a feast .The musicans played to each table and the dancers were very pretty. Then the best part of the evening the magic show Brian and his assistant Lola performed a slick funny and amazing show with everyone in the audience been asked to parcipate in some way .The best attraction in Malta by far don't miss it.

Just back from one of the most entertaining nights ever at the Chamber of Mysteries with Brian and Lola Role. There were 14 in our family ranging from 18 months to me and my hubby in our 50s and all others in between. The good was great and the surroundings were beautiful and steeped in history but the best bit had to be stepping into the Chamber of Mysteries. It holds about 25 people and you are so up close and personal that it makes the magic even more magical. The show had great humour too. If you are coming to Malta make it a must see as made a great ending to our holiday here. Thanks to Brian and Lola and all the staff and our wonderful minibus driver.

We are taking our grandsons to Malta in May, and your show sounds fantastic. The boys are well behaved 7 and 9 year olds. Do you allow children at your venue?

Yes, children are welcome and they love the show. All information including prices, further FAQs and all other details can be found on the official website. Dates for May are not yet published but soon will be by or before the end of March. In May we begin to get very busy though. It would be a good idea to keep up to date with us by following us on FB as well, to know as soon as dates are published.

Does each couple get a carafe of wine to themselves? The reason I am asking is that I understand some couples are put at shared tables with other couples etc and I know you can take the carafe into the show with you.

I had red and my husband white and a carafe each was produced. I saw others having wine refilled. There is - if anything - too much food and drink!

Considering booking for a family evening with a 6 year old boy, 14 year old girl and parents. Have seen previous reviews but wondered if anyone with children had attended recently, and if they had advise. Or if Brian and Lola think it may not be suitable, thinking of a Friday night. Thanks.

Hi.the list is basic and simple spots.its such an intimate setting that no big lighting or pyrotechnics take place.I cannot advise you but it's very soft lighting
