We stopped to view this waterfall as part of a tour of Martinique. You have to hike down a number of steep steps to get there and then cross a rocky area that has water running through it so you should have water shoes like Teva's. I did not go swimming in the pool of water, but it was a pleasant diversion in a lovely setting. I'm not sure I would go out of my way to see it, but it is an easy hike from the main road as long as you can deal with the steps.

Very nice place by waterfall is downstairs and through small creek waterway, but amasing here and in the mountains. This water is not hot, the swimming pool around is not so deep and the steamy tropical atmosphere of mountain waterfall is completely in the evening, dont mis this time. Some insects and anolis lizzard remember tropical forest... Wonderfull is it after the day in the hills with rain showers... Refreshment more over all!

I would not recommend trying to find this on your own. It is up a very windy mountain and the sign is easy to miss.
here are a lot of steps to get to the waterfall and you cross a creek by rocks. According to our tour guide, this is the only waterfall you can get to without hiking. I would not recommend it for anyone who has knee problems or any physical disability.
Once at the falls, the water was shallow enough for kids to enjoy.
This was my first experience in a rainforest and I really enjoyed it!

Driving through the rain forest and around the mountains was beautiful on the way. The nice thing about this waterfall is that is was conveniently located right off the road, you didn't even have to hike down to it to see it. The hike down was a combination of steep steps, boulder strewn paths, some roots and rock jumping across a small stream to get to the base of the waterfall. It was enough of an adventure to make it worth the stop. The water fall output was small due to the dry season when we saw it, but I can imagine it as much more boisterous with more rain. A shallow pool in front of the falls allowed for wading in knee high, very refreshing on a hot day. Very much enjoyed it.

We stopped at this waterfall during a tour of Martinique. The walk down includes steep steps and crossing a stream via rocks so it requires some exertion. The waterfall was nice and we watched another tour rappelling down, which was interesting. Some people were swimming in the waterfall.
This is worth the stop.

This waterfall is a fantastic place. We've travelled here twice - on a rainy day and on a sunny day. Both days were in their own way great. On a sunny day the amount of water is great to take a shower and a bath in the pool. On a rainy day the amount of water coming down is enormous but looks fantastic. The water is colder than on sunny days but nice and refreshing.
Also there is a little track going up to the top of the waterfall where you'll even find two more little waterfalls. The way up is not that easy and hiking shoes are recommended. It was a great experience.

This waterfall was not difficult to visit. There was only one problem. We had to walk on stones where water went through.
People swam under the waterfall. I enjoyed taking pictures.
Worthwhile to see!

This is one of the stops made on the Karambole Tour (Pilet et Face specifically). The highlight of the tour. It's in a rainforest. This is a must-see in Martinique. The photos are of the rainforest. The photo I took of the waterfall is too large of a file.

We drove by the spot three times before we found it, and it is what it is, and today no one was here but us... we had it all to ourselves.
Reminds me a bit of what you might find on the road to Hana, on the island of Kauai, in Hawaii.

There are so many waterfalls in Martenique, this was probably the one with easiest access from the road. Beautiful and clean fresh water. Cold but soo worth a swim! There are little cottages so you can bring food, but bring your trash back with you!
