This is a big field in town area. Came here for a run in the morning around field. Food court next to it is closed for good i guess. There is a food truck area at night next to it.

The dataran still looks great as ever. Good spot for exercise if you like doing your runs in the morning (or evening). Unfortunately the constant road construction at the moment is killing the access to the Dataran especially if you are coming from the town center.

I spent some time here while I was waiting my ferry to Kota Kinabalu. It is not far away from the ferry terminal. There are flags of states of malaysia and the national flag.

We saw the flags of all Malaysian states fluttering as it was a windy day. Admired the historical "flame of the forest " trees, - big, strong , shady. Saw, read what was written on the stone plaques found here and there. Great place to relax and soak in the spirit of Labaun

Nice maintained park, but quite boring on a sunny day. There is no shadow and unless there is some activity on the grass field, there is nothing to do around. Perhaps take some pictures with flags and a copy of famous island chimney.
