My tour stopped here on our way to Philip Island. This is one of the best animal park I have visited, even though the park is small but its neat and clean. Best spot to spend a day with your family or friends, they do...More

Hello SuriaKS A day tour on a coach is a great way to get to Maru from Melbourne and we have several different companies that come to us each day. The money you gave us for the kangaroo food is used to support the work...More

Small and neatly kept animal park. Kids loved it. Reception staff are very friendly. Should name it Maru Kangaroo and animal park rather than Koala park. The name is misleading, as there are very few Koalas. It is over priced when compared to other larger...More

MaruKoalaPark, Owner at Maru Koala and Animal Park, responded to this review

Hello Joseph WE have 10 koalas at Maru which is quite a large number for a Victorian Park and more than at Melbourne Zoo or Healseville Sanctuary. We appreciate your opinion but do feel at only $20 entry that is a reasonable entry price for...More

A small park. You can go inside the playground area and feed the animals. You can feed a koala and have your picture taken with him. Also feed the kangaroo's. The park is small so can visit in a couple of hours depending on how...More

Hello CactusCaro Thanks for visiting us at Maru. Just to clarify for others reading your review, you can feed the kangaroos that free roam in their large open paddock enclosure but it is not a playground area. We do have an indoor playroom in our...More

A great little animal park located next to the Bass Highway. We took some elderly friends from the UK, one in a wheelchair, and they loved it. Ann described it as a "Champagne day out". They enjoyed some quality interaction with kangaroos and wallabies and...More
