We parked near the steps / slope down to the beach which is very clean and a sun trap (great for sun bathing). The beach is sheltered with a warm sea and is very flat with all amenities including a well stocked bar (reasonably priced and has live music on Sunday afternoons) There is also a walk to the harbour and the restaurant which over looks the coast.
After the slow walk back to the car we decided to go to the Lucky Lion at Lomas de Cabo Roig for a cooked breakfast. The breakfast is fantastic value for money costing only €3.50 for what I would describe as a large breakfast. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and the staff were very attentive. Both the beach and the Lucky Lion are definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful beach as they all are in this area although access could be a a bit of a problem if you are limited in your walking ability. They have done their best to reduce this problem with gently sloping walkways but there Are still some stairs at the bottom.
They have musical entertainment from 3pm on a Sunday which draws the crowds. Social distancing is strictly adhered to and the beach and sea are lovely and clean

Lovely beach live entertainment on Sundays. Fab boardwalk to la zenia beach. Went to JC’s bar in Cabo Roig on the strip afterwards for fab wine €1 a glass or €3 bottles 5/8 pm. Good served 2pm to 5.40 pm
Has gorgeous burger toasted sandwich and home made scones. Jan and Colin are so welcoming and go way beyond the call of duty. Highly recommend it.

Steps or a sloped path access to this lovely sheltered beach. We come at different times of the year to it. It’s flat and easy to swim at, sheltered too and a good place to sunbathe on. All the amenities you’d need are close by. A walk through the harbour and up to the restaurant overlooking it should be part of your visit too. The views are amazing and change depending on the time of day and the season.

Family day trip to the beach. There was eight of us, the cafe on the beach is nice and the restaurant was really nice. But the sea smelt very bad of sewage. It was awful. We would not come back to use this beach, maybe it was a bad day but the smell was horrendous.

My daughter and I visited Cabo Roig to paddleboard.
The parking was no problem with a short 5 min walk. Quick drink in one of the bars... Well priced
The bay was calm, clear and shallow.. Ideal for what we wanted. We will return

we have spent the last few years holidaying in a place just 15 minutes from Murcia. Its a small place called Cabo Roig. It is just where I want to be in these cold months - its actually warm in January 16 deg. or more. The odd cloudy day. Everything on your doorstep. A place called The Strip where there are numerous restaurants all very very reasonably priced. We have booked in for the Chinese New Year on Jan. 25 to a place where you can choose to eat a wide variety of food and all for 8.95. The beach is just less than 5 minutes from the apartment we stay in. I just love this place. Its my little bit of heaven. It is cheaper for us to spend a week there than at home - apartments are great value and food is very cheap.

In Winter, the area around Cabo Roig beach is a great place to go. The weather is mild all through December and January and you frequently experience warm days of 20c with clear bue skies.
The beach at Cabo Roig is sheltered from the wind and is a great sun trap. Often, even when there is a stron, cool breeze there are still many people on the beach sunbathing etc.
This is a far cry from Cabo Roig in the summer. From about April through to September / October there is a beach hut that plays blaring music all day completely ruining the atmosphere. It resonates around the entire beach. During this time you are better off at the next beach along. There is also a hut there but the music is at a normal volume only audible to those in the vicinity of the hut. Meaning that you can lay on the beach and listen to the sound of the sea and children playing.
