Enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon ride through forest and hills on Gerry, a sure-footed gentle giant. My go to place for lessons and trails next time I visit. Gracious staff. Nikki listened carefully to my past riding history and chose the perfect horse for me. The yard was bustling with horses and riders but they were off to their lessons,... More

Brought my two nieces for a riding lesson to the Killegar Stables and was completely satisfied by the level of service. A lovely lady name Emmy looked after my nieces in such a grounded and friendly way that they spoke of her numerous times afterwards in admiration.

I've been taking lessons here for the past month and have been very impressed with the stables, the horses, the facilities and the instructors. I recently returned to riding after a long break and was very nervous about it but am rediscovering my love for it after coming to Killegar. There is an indoor and outdoor arena which is great... While visiting Ireland I decided to book the horseback riding to celebrate father's day with my husband. We had the pleasure of riding at Killegar Stables. It was an amazing time. Both of us hadn't ridden in years and after a thorough lesson on the basic's we were ready for our ride. We had a blast and the views were... More

I've enjoyed beginners lesson with my son here: horses are well behaved, safety ensured. Horses are well looked after here and yard cleaned all the time. However, some facilities for customers need improvement, mainly area where people change shoes. Would return for a trek, as Beata tought us well.

I had a very nice time trekking through the woods with Tim, the stable manager. He took care to check that I had expeience before going on one of his more adventurous routes. He pointed out the beautiful sights and there were plenty of places to let the horse take a good gallop. All the people in the stables were... More

Okay I am biased, I started riding here as a kid. I tend to go back when friends want to come riding with me, for the great happy horses and of course the wonderful Joe. they accomadate the ride to your riding levels, and have great jumps in the back fields with the loose horses. Heart in mouth sometimes as... More

My friend and I had really good time with guys in Killegar Stables. Really nice people working there, and they look after you, and make you feel very comfortable even if you aren't very experienced. No one is rushing you either. Horses are very pleasant and well behaved. Trek is the best way to see the scenery, but we will... More
