Lovely stroll when you are suffering from the night before! Great views of the golf course and The Atlantic. Not sure I am as brave as the kids on their surf boards though!

Wind surfer haven. Lot of surf boards. Long walks on the beach. But very windy. Some businesses were closed. Restrooms are at the end of the blue building. Water Closets lol

The new pedestrian pathway at the back of the beach is fabulous! I just wish, as a dog owner myself, that other dog owners would pick up after their dogs. There are even free bags at the start of the pathway!

Such a lovely beach- interesting shapes of wave formation onto the sand. Long and clean. Popular with surfers. You can return back via the road or tarmac path, but we preferred to stroll back the same way. Great views north and south, as the light...More

Very popular beach with good facilities for, surfers, divers, and families. Ample parking near to the shops and the centre of town and close to the Golf Course.

The beach at Lahinch has been substantially improved after the big storm of 2014 and in anticipation of the Irish Open golf competition of 2019. Large rocks now anchor the beach and parking has been improved. A walk along the beach at low tide is...More

Everyone raves about the beach at Lahinch, so after a morning at the nearby Cliffs of Moher, we cruised into the massive new parking lot, waiting for a spot to free up. Gorgeous sunshine, surfers to the north of us, and hundreds of people enjoying...More

Clearly popular with surfers, but this non-surfer also enjoyed Lahinch beach. We visited at both high and low tide. Low tide the water goes waaaaay back, and you can have a lovely stroll pretty far out onto the beach. High tide made for lively waves...More

On a cool and somewhat rainy spring day, it still was a great spot. Watch the surfers. Not any bathers in the cold. Great views along the coast. And very close to the famous golf course at Lahinch, which hosted the Irish Open a few...More

Really worth a visit, over a mile of soft sandy beach. Good parking adjacent. Great views and plenty of room for everyone. Has a life guard look out at an area zoned for swimming. There are lots of groups of people, including young children in...More

Yes, I have seen horses being ridden on the beach and you can get down via a ramp, but the beach is not huge (not miles of coastline) but a large bay.
