I was in the area and fancied a game of golf. What a super links course I chose to play. The green fee is reduced after 4pm and there were not many people on the course. You need a map to find a couple of the tees, but the lay-out straight forward. The fairways were very nice

If you want to experience Irish links golf, North West Golf Club is the place to play. Tough, demanding course, with a constant concern for wind. We encountered what seemed like 35 mph cross winds and despite losing a few balls, still enjoyed our experience.
