I arranged a foraging walk with Mary for a group of 20 friends who gathered to celebrate my 50th and it was one of the absolute highlights of our weekend. I have just returned home with my forraging basket overflowing with hedgerow bounty, an impressive array of jars and bottles of Spiced Elderberry Syrup and Hedgerow Shampoo. A fantastic day with a very personable and knowledge host. The day started with coffee and a chat to discover what the group wanted out of the visit, then we foraged around the local hedgerows and in Mary's own garden, tasting as we went, and learning which plants were good herbal remedies.
