Tramore racecourse is where 'the turf meets the surf' and it is one of the most intimate stages for racing in Ireland. The 4-day mid-August festival (incorporating 3 evening meetings) has everything a summer racing festival should have: sun (usually), sea, sand, spectacular racing and anything else that takes your fancy on a hot summers day. It offers a great opportunity to take a racing holiday because of the great amenities on your doorstep in Tramore, one of the premier seaside resorts in Ireland.

I attended "Ladies" Evening meeting with two good friends. It was very well attended with the ladies putting a lot of hard work and they all looked amazing. The sun shone I have attended this festival racing many times but this year was the best well done to the manager and staff and everyone involved.

Attended the Friday evening meeting in June. First time at this venue. It is a small compact venue and everybody was very friendly. Plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of seating available. Free parking is a bonus. Its a fairly hilly course for the horses so the favourites dont always show. Certainly not on this occasion when... More

We go racing regularly to all racecourses in Ireland. Tramore need to get itself sorted, it is in places filthy. I am still waiting for about 3 weeks for a reply to an email I sent regarding their hospitality options. I am still waiting 2 days for a reply to a message I put up on their Facebook page regarding... More

A visit to the racecourse provides a glimpse of Irish culture. The racecourse is easily reached from Tramore.

The viewing stands give a good view of most of the track however the cafe isn't great and the bar is very basic, They don't have a good selection of drinks and run out frequently and only provide plastic glasses.

The grounds leave a lot to be desired, muddy and covered in litter.
