Tired amusement park hasn't changed in years, really could do with an upgrade and newer attractions. Mini golf is fun though and annual fireworks are worth seeing.

We, myself and I visited the Tramore Amusement park two weeks ago, I was pleasantly surprised at the different rides and shops on site. The park was pretty full and the children all seemed to be having a great time. I can honestly recommend the...More

I think the amusements are great for the kids and even fun for the adults but I think they should get more new rides so that people won't be always going on the same things I think it is a great place

I went in with my 11 yo daughter with 50euros to spend. Went on the Octopus where the operator gave us a 'special' ride where he went faster than usual and up and down too much and for way way too long as well. The...More

Most of the rides seemed to be running with very few people while I was there and the park seemed to be quiet, but, this was midweek and maybe at the weekends it would be busier! I got the impression that this park, which is...More

I've not been to an 'Amusement park' for many a year but succumbed to the nagging from my kids recently. So armed with bags of coins, disinfectant and plasters we all headed to the 'hurdy gurdies' with my expectations set low, however I was more...More

€3 per person per ride, usually. Lots to go on from bumper cars, small roller coaster things, peddle boats, train, ghost train, minion slide, hook a duck, crazy golf, etc. It is fun and kids love it. Was quiet when we visited today so no...More

Visited with two small children, we had a fun time on some of the rides. We asked about discounts or bands to reduce cost, but all rides are priced individually and are very expensive. The only way we manage in a place like this is...More

Afternoon in Waterford (4 Replies)
Hello, We are planning an afternoon visit to Waterford (on Sunday). There is 7 of us. My spouse, myself and 5 children (ages 12, 15, 16, 18 & 19) This is what we have planned... any help or advice with where we would be going, places to eat, pubs or the hotel would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. driving in from The Mill at Avoca Village (1 hour 20 mins per mapquest) 12:00 - 1:00pm SS Dunbrody Emigrant Ship drive to (38 mins per mapquest) 1:30 - 2:00pm Hook Head...More

I think your times are a bit optimistic, both the driving and the tours etc. An hour and a half Avoca to New Ross, probably ok. An hour for the emigrant ship assumes you get a tour immediately. 38 minutes to Hook Head, a bit precise, but probably ok, but half an hour to see the lighthouse and have lunch, no chance. And such a pity not to allow the children to explore the rocky foreshore - in one area there are masses of tiny fossils in the rock. At this stage I would say you are running...More

Hi all, Could anybody tell me when the Tramore amusement park opens up again please, as we were there last year and stayed for a week at Pebble Beach. We are planning to go at easter for 4 nights and stay at Pebble Beach again, or are there any other places to stay.....They must be close to the amusements within walking distance.
