We loved our day out kayaking. The lakes around are really beautiful. Kayaks are in good condition and the prices reasonable. People working there are all very pleasant and our group was given lots of attention and advice on where to go and what to do. Fantastic day out!

Sean is amazing!!! He took my cousins to the family O'Reilly castle. Mark gave us a very detailed talk on the history of the castle. A thunderstorm came up and we all got soaked. Upon our return to the Center, he provided hot tea, cookies and warm towels for us. We had so many great laughs and made new friends... More

We arranged a tour in advance over the phone and via Facebook messenger. Arrived at the centre after a lovely drive through the narrow lanes and green fields with lakes dotted throughout. Sean welcomed us and advised that Mark would be taking our tour, there were four of us and another lady on the trip. They got us kitted out... More

My family and I spent a lovely afternoon last week boating on the lakes with Sean & Mark. They took us to the castle ruins of Lough Oughter. Since we explained that we could trace our ancestors to here they spent a lot of time enlightening us with the history. Everything here was first class & I hope to get... More

Visited here as one of a group of 8 people (4 adults & 4 children ages 6 to 8) recently and had a super experience. From start to finish we were made very welcome and the owner Sean (along with his daughter Siobhan) couldn’t have been any more helpful. We arrived without a booking and were lucky enough that the... My boyfriend and I went here after booking it online. We found the place very easily. We were staying in nearby Virginia and it was a 30 minute drive. Upon arrival we were greeted by Sean and a lovely girl whose name i didnt get. We opted for the double canoe which was €30 for 4 hours and that included... More

We had a brilliant day kayaking on Lough Oughter - what an amazing place. Sean was great at getting us sorted and soon we were on our way. We took a picnic with us and stopped off to have it at Cloughoughter castle which is on a small island on the lake. The scenery was spectacular and it was was... More
