Been here several times. Amazing place. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth the visit. The coffee shop serves hot and cold food and drinks and the staff are helpful

Only a quick visit but do much to see and could have spent the whole day! Tour guide was ver knowledgable with a dry wit which brought the history to life.

Free parking at the visitors centre. It is a 4k walk to the Castle however there is a bus if you don't want to walk. Fantastic scenery along the route to the castle. Other longer walks available. Great day out.

Yes the park is open in October. Beautiful views. And from the car park there is shuttle buses to the castle also. Just check for tour times if you want to see inside the castle as these have to be purchased. Rest of... More

The car park area is well marked and not far from the entry to the visitor center.
