Brennanstown Riding School is one of Ireland's longest running and best known equestrian centres. While we specialize in riding lessons we also offer scenic trekking with treks up the Little Sugar Loaf Mountain and also into the magnificent Kilruddery Estate. Trek lengths range from one hour for as little as 33 euro per person up to two hour treks and combo treks which include lunch at neighboring attractions.

Went on a really beautiful day with blue sky and sunshine. I was assigned to a pony given I am short.... >< The whole walking took almost 2 hours. It's quite tiring to keep controlling your horse not to eat grass along the way LOL. Tutors are friendly, helpful and patient to give instructions before and during the walk.

Everything about this place was great! We planned for 5 people but my dad threw his back out a few days before. They had no problem when we called that morning to let them know. We arrived there on time, were given boots/helmets and a little lesson. Very helpful! Our guide, Andrea, then took us out into the mountains for... More

Myself and my girlfriend booked an afternoon hour long trek for 2. Rob and Amy were extremely friendly and helpful, giving good instruction on the basics of riding without being in anyway over cautious which adds to the enjoyment. 45 euro each was a bargain. We'll be back with a bigger group of friends next time. Eamonn & Kim

Visited with my girlfriend today and we were both impressed! We were geared up by one of the girls in the office with boots and head gear before being introduced to our guide Rob. Rob showed us the basics around the practice arena and made sure we were comfortable with the horses before we set off on our trail riding Morgan... More

To the gentleman complaining about the lack of email response, my email was answered immediately. Super friendly and informative. Visited the location today and was so impressed by the facility, staff and quality of horses, we are returning later this week to ride. A full critique to follow. :)

I just wanted to let everyone know that we had a wonderful time at Brennanstowns riding school this June. My 2 girls and I went for an hours trek with the amazing staff. This was my first time ever on a horse and they made me feel so comfortable. I got Stanley, this very big beautiful horse and it was... More

Went on a trek here recently and I have to say the trek itself was really nice with beautiful scenery and gorgeous horses. On the downside there was no personal touches, what so ever, to the trek or any kind of interaction between us, as a group, and the staff. As we paid before the trek it felt like once... More

Decided to organise a social outing and searched google and came across Brennanstown Riding School. Looked very nice so decided to go ahead and book it. There was mixed ability riders so they catered for everyone, which was great. However, the overall trek was lacking a bit of personality. The person who brought us out was nice but not overly... I was treated to a private trek for my birthday and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The staff and facilities are great. The views on the trek were stunning. It was a great way to spend my birthday. Our instructor Andrea was a really lovely girl and guided us through everything brilliantly. She has a true passion and that showed.

My wife and I went for a one hour trek. The stables are located right next to M11(M50?) and the first impression may be put off by the noise from the traffic, but don't worry you will leave the traffic-noise on your trek. I have almost no experience with riding horses and found the experience fun. My wife has more... More
