Stopped in here for info and trinkets and the staff was outstanding. Answered every question we had and proved to us that the Irish people truly are a super friendly lot!

Bernard was very knowledgeable regarding the artifacts collected. He has a great family history story in regards to Cashel. He was the highlight of my trip. I could have questioned him for hours.

We arrived too late in the afternoon to visit the Rock so headed to this small museum to fill in time. Entry was free and there were some interesting display boards and a couple of old charters which were hidden away, for protection, under covers- so make sure you lift them up to view them

We almost skipped this small museum downtown but were stunned to be confronted with the two original charters for the town of Cashel, both of which were 100 years old then the Declaration of Independence. The museum itself is a short but sweet overview of the history of Cashel and really helped to place everything we had seen and experienced in context. The museum is free and well worth the time.

By means of audio and visual displays, the story of Cashel is told from its very beginnings. Fascinating to be able to look at the original Royal Charters given to the city by Charles II and James

I visited this wonderful museum about 3 years ago with two of my friends. I've always meant to leave a review for the man that brought us around and showed us his wonderful museum. It was absolutely amazing he showed us everything from an Irish elks head to bog butter we walked through the famine and the Easter Rising while finishing at an old Gypsy cart and its history. this is not to be missed while you are in cashel. he is very generous and helpful he knows everything got to do with Irish history. I'm going to bring my dad up there when I get a chance. Aj McCullough from Drogheda.

I came here to go to the tourist office to get some leaflets as this display is attached to that building. The women in the tourist office were friendly and nice. They made some statements to me about Kearney's castle which is across from here which were historically and factually wrong. Cashel story is okay to be honest but you can give this a miss and trust me when I say you're not missing anything.

We dropped in here during a rain storm and were very pleasantly surprised. Nice overview of the history of the town presented in Audio Visual display. There is also a small shop to pick up local gifts at reasonable prices.
