It is a big church and I like the architectural style, but I was not so impressed with the inside. The glass windows are nice.

Attended my second wedding in this church after 28 years.. I had forgotten how beautiful it was. And on a freezing day it was lovely and warm inside.

The Church was decorative and some referred to it as a Cathedral and others as a Church. Still not sure. I had traveled a few hours and was disappointed that there was no toilet on the premises.

I actually went here to attend Mass, but was breathless at the beauty of the interior of the church. The shrine of St. Theresa was just lovely, and the altar and stained glass windows behind it are simply beyond words beautiful.

Known locally as "The Cathedral" in Dundalk but not a cathedral in the strict sense of the term as it is a church in the Archdiocese of Armagh. A cross between Carlow Cathedral & St Mary's Cathedral in Kilkenny. Similar to Carlow Cathedral with its crenelated corners & the tower is similar to St Mary's Cathedral in Kilkenny.

This church is well worth your time to see. The stained glass and ceilings are beyond beautiful. We toured it in a Sunday afternoon, between masses. The congregation was very amicable and kind when we arrived, between services. They encouraged us to go in and enjoy the surroundings and take all the pictures we wanted!
