This road trip has wonderful views and quaint rural villages. The road was windy and slow but very little traffic. It was well worth the few hours drive and not have the tourists.

This is a magnificent drive. It's best to go on a day when there is no fog! Rain is OK and sunshine is marvellous. There is something for everyone, just take your time!

This peninsula is recommended by locals as as good as ring of kerry and is less traffic too. We found it to be stunning scenery and little traffic.
