We booked the activity the day before without thinking it could be that amazing. We arrived in the morning while it was booked in the afternoon and Roger managed to let us ride at the moment we arrived. Roger doesnt only bring you on a ride with Horses, he is passionate by his country and region. He will explain you... More

Roger was kind enough to squeeze in time for our two teenagers (beginner riders) who were dying to give horseback riding a try. They had an amazing experience. Roger and his family took the girls out and gave a fantastic lesson while trekking through an amazing countryside. The girls really enjoyed it and are looking forward to going back. Highly... More

I took a 2 hour trip for intermediate/advanced riders and was very happy with it. Roger is knowledgeable about the area and has a good storytelling approach to guiding. The horses were in great condition, appropriate for the experience levels in the group, and all Irish breeds (Connemara and Irish Tinker), making it a pretty purely Irish trail ride! Roger... More

Great moment with Roger. Did his best to give confidence to our younger daughter, gave us plenty of explanations about the landscape, how it was built throughout the years and so on. One of our top 3 moments this 2016 summer in Ireland. THANKS!

we had a great tour on the horse back. Roger was very friendly and told us a lot more about the history. We went with the 5 of us and all were unexperienced. the tour last much longer than we had agreed and it was the same price. We would recommend it. Even for me it was nice to do... More

Great treck ride today in the hills of Oughterard. Roger and his staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and its history. The horses are very well taken care of, which is most important in my opinion. Suits all level of riders. Thank for a great experience!

I was given an early Father's Day present by my 13-year-old daughter: horseback riding in the Connemara Hills above Oughterard. I will cherish this gesture and its memory. Roger and his family are top notch, accommodating my clumsiness and trepidation (as a rider I am much more comfortable astride a bike than atop a horse) fluidly as we trekked to... More

Honestly, doing this was not easy for me, as I have always been kind of scared of the idea. I have never been on a horse, period, not even a pony. My fiancee and I had a great time. Roger and his children are super helpful. Roger is not only a good guide but he is an encouraging teacher too.... More
