Anyone who would like to take the opportunity to experience many impressions of Ireland in a small spot, should go by boat (ferry at the very end of the promenade) to the island. There is also the possibility to drive around the island, but the...More

Went on the ferry with my date. The ferry owner gave us a tour around Ireland’s eye. We didn’t get the small island since the waves were huge and it was too windy. Can have a great view of the sea, Ireland’s eye and Howth!...More

If you like nature and hiking, you might spend an hour or two on this nice, uninhabited island and enjoy the landscape. You can get a ferry (motorboat) for 15 Euro per person to drop you off and pick you up later on. You get...More

You can get a small ferry to the island from Howth harbour costing about €15pp, which takes you to a rocky inlet on the far side. Our boat took us around the impressive ‘Stack’ rock formation with its colony of gannets, and we saw seals...More

While walking along the waterfront, we came across the tour. On a whim, we took the tour. It was a peaceful tour around the waterfront. We then went out to an island and saw a variety of birds. A pleasant time!

Ireland's Eye is a hidden gem in Dublin. We got a ride with the company with the small red ferries, and the boat was small and had a very strong diesel smell, but other than that the cruise was short and smooth. We spent around...More

Enjoyed the boat ride out to the island and learning about the history of the island from the staff on the boat. Birds on the cliffs, seals, and jelly fish were so amazing to see. We walked around the island and that was fun to...More

We got a boat trip from Howth to the island, €15 each. Really worth a visit on a good day. You'd need to spend at least two hours here.

Lots of birds, silence and chrystal clear sea. We stayed just over an hour but could have spent much more time easily. Best to wear closed footwear because of the paths that can be steep and slippery at times. There is a beach or you...More

The word "easy" is relative! I don't have the best of balance and the sea was relatively calm where the stairs are so it was easy. There was someone was ahead of me to take my hand as I stepped off the boat and someone... More
