I did the Sandeman's tour with Eoin. It's a long walk, but worth it, specially if the weather is clear.

Howth Peninsula, located just 16 km from Dublin, will provide anyone not forgotten sensations, as they know perfectly natives. I would recommend a walk on the cliffs and around the Peninsula.

With CJ we had the craic, meeting in Dublin before heading to Howth. It's a pretty town with a great walk around it. A good way to see some rural Ireland without going far from Dublin. Lunch at the pub was great too. Highly recommended.

My tour guide John did a great job giving history and culture of the area. It's a easy train ride plus a long walk/hike around Howth. Bring your shoes and some water. I would recommend this to anyone with school-aged kids. Beautiful photos!

For anyone who hasn't planned to get out of Dublin much and wants a taste of the countryside, Howth is the place to go. This tour was wonderful, with amazing views from the cliffs, including gorgeous flowers, lots of seaside, a good pub/seafood stop along the way, and even a castle. However, I would caution anyone who may not have... More

This was the BEST DAY!! It was 6 hrs total and all walking - some of it very strenuous up hill hiking - but I am an out of shape 41 yr old and my hubby is an out of shape 54 yr old and we were able to do it... The views are INCREDIBLE! The tour guide, James, was... More

Howth day tour is about 6 hours. You get there by train and the whole tour is about 15 Km between walking and hiking. This tour needs a lot of physical effort and it can be exhausting. You start with Howth Castle, see Aideen’s Grave and listen to some storytelling from James our tour guide. Then start climbing through the... More
