Stayed with hubby and toddler. Amazing from start to finish, room 17 was out of this world. So so much to see and do. Grounds are exquisite, really loved the mirror when entering manor house, amazing view behind. Only niggle was being unable to book a 2nd night as hotel booked out. Alan Gallagher was incredibly kind and helpful. We... More

Just home from a fabulous couple of days in Mount Juliet . This was our third stay in the old house , and she has never once failed . My wife enjoyed Spa treatments on day one , whilst I enjoyed a good swim in the well appointed leisure centre . Then the best Bloody Mary's , aptly named Bloody... More

Staying in Kilkenny, stopped off for afternoon tea. Looks like a very impressive place which we intend to visit again for a longer stay.

No matter the rain we have experienced great golf (the course was well kept), the accommodation in the main house was excellent. Great scenery, excellent service, intimate atmosphere, but not to formal. Having breakfast at he window, looking at the horses outside, walking around many little places around the house to sit and relax, playing golf..… great, wish we could... More

The layout and design of this estate is fabulous. The scenery is wonderful and the numerous walking paths enjoyable. The entire estate is maintained in a pristine condition and of course there is always the golf course. Go see snd experience

We had a deluxe room overlooking the river and green fields. It was delightful and relaxing. After settling in we walked around the estate and enjoyed the fresh air and exercise before stopping in for a drink on the patio.

I have never stayed nor dined here other than lunch but if you are into golf, this is a gem and an experience irrespective of handicap which like mine is not something to boast about...but yes a good walk spoiled but gladly so..... there is so much estate scenary to experience in the midst of a luscious part of Kilkenny... We visited this hotel for dinner. Main restaurant menu choice quite poor but reassuringly expensive. It must be said that the food quality was good and the service great but the atmosphere was absent. Excellent meal though expensive but little true character.

Not sure what's going on but I played here a number of times over the years dating back to 2009. The last couple of times (since the end of 2014) the course hasn't been in the same good shape. Especially the details that really stood out in the past. Not sure if it's the new ownership or what but there... More

Sunday, mid afternoon we went upstairs in the Hunter s yard for a christening celebration dinner. After approx. an hour we were served our starter 'creamy wild mushrooms' which we could scarcely eat they were so salty. Another half hour break and the main course arrived 'cod or roast beef' nicely cooked but the sauce on the cod and the... More
