Fab day with a genial host in Nic. Great knowledge and insights. Saw Fin and Minky whales and enjoyed the full 5 hours on board and at Cape Clear. Highly recommend this experience.

Amazing experience with Nic and JJ who were attentive hosts and knowledgable on the area and marine life. The trip takes almost half a day with a stopover at Cape Clear Island so worth every penny. Loved being able to spend proper time on the water, didn’t feel rushed and two small catamaran boats meant you weren’t surrounded by other tourists distressing the wildlife. Nic fitted me in with a late email request so was very easy to book. Only issue was to allow enough time for parking in Baltimore as it gets very busy. Loved every minute, would highly recommend!

What a wonderful day! An amazing experience for both big and small and worth every penny! Nic is so knowledgable, welcoming and a great host on his boat. It's a day that brings a mixture of many experiences...from the whales and dolphins, to beautiful views, Cape Clear and chats about the wildlife. Could not recommend it high enough and will bring all my future guests to west cork out for a day with Nic. Thank You!

Interaction with the skipper was great. Spotted a few mink whales and various marine life. Tour was fantastic. I am not experienced with whale watching but when we got off shore the skipper made sure what we were to look out for. West cork is a great place to go and adventure on trips like this. I am from Limerick and next time I am around baltimore I would highly consider doing this again. Thanks and best of luck.

Poor, poor communication. Nic let our group down and left 4 devestated kids standing on the pier after telling us didn't have enough room for us. Had communicated with Nic via text. I requested space on the trip, he confirmed he had availability and what pricing was. He asked me how many people we were and I confirmed our numbers back 7 people. Drove 1.5 hrs to Baltimore only to be told he had only booked us in as 4 people so we had to leave 3 people behind or not go at all. Obviously we couldn't send all kids solo or leave any behind so we all stayed behind. Nic admitted this was his admin error as he didn't confirm our numbers correctly. He also tried to tell us we needed a confirmation number, however this was not stated anywhere on his comminications or website. He had my number and could have phoned us. In short, his admin error (scribbles in a black book) wasted a full day of our holiday and left 4 heartbroken kids watch his boat pull away from the pier. I went looking for alternative trips and spoke to some locals, I was told this happens often and he over books in hope of some cancellations. Indeed another group on the pier today had to leave a person behind so perhaps we wee not the only ones affected. He didnt offer us an alternative date or trip. Just shrugged his shoulders and off he went. Ver shoddy business eithic. No doubt Nic will likely respond on here and tell me again should have gotten this mystery "confirmation number". Would be intetested to know if all his other bookings were given a confirmation as the booking process via a mobile number is all very lax and "cash based". At 55 a pop with no child discount, its expensive for what you get. Can't comment on the trip, but would urge people to book with a more credible company who don't overbook and leave kids standing on a pier.
