I loved this place. The simulator is amazing. Also the aircraft outside. The De havaland, the Buchaneer and other interesting parts of aircraft.

We found the details for this place in a tourist magazine. We deciced to book the half hour similutor for my son. We had a look around the planes that were outside the premises. He loved being able to sit in the pilot seat and pretend to fly. We were shown aroud the musuem, and given time to look at... More

We were excited to visit this museum after reading the webiste. My five-year old son is passionate about airplanes and we have visited many aviation museums - large and small. He was most excited to spend some time speaking with the real life aviators that I told him about after reading the website. When we arrived there was a person... More

We are very sorry you didn't enjoy the experience, and for the reception, that really is most unusual for our visitors and very disappointing to hear and to see posted like this. We always strive to give our visitors their moneys worth and a lot more, but due to the fact this is a small and underfunded facility doing our... More

The Atlantic Airventure is a great gift for a friend, family member or as part of a team building exercise. The tour of the grounds and hangar are very informative and the range of aircraft on show range from ex fighter planes to small Cessna's. The main attraction however is the flight deck of a Boeing 747. To actually pick... More

Took my eldest son (9) to a kids party here, in place of the mindless running about the actually had fun and learned a lot about Flight and aviation in general. Keeping a group of 9yr olds in check is not easy but Jane does such a great job keeping them busy. They get to use flight sims in pairs... More

Took a two hour slot with three colleagues as a team building exercise. We had a superb time. Jane and Harry looked after us very well indeed. This really is something else. It's an experience to that not only tests one's ability to think and co-ordinate, but brings a whole new respect for airline pilots (speaking as someone who sits... More

An absolutely amazing experience. My husband and son had a half hour each flight simulator experience and they have not stopped talking about it! The simulator is used for pilot training and it is an actual 737 Canadian Airline cockpit. My husband 'flew' from Shannon to Cork and it is just so realistic...you actually think you are in a cockpit!... More

Even if you have only a passing interest in aviation, this place is well worth a visit. The flight simulator is a fantastic experience, and there are many exhibits which would be of interest to most if not all visitors. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a 'must see', and you could easily spend a few hours here. Highly... More
