A proper Irish pub being exactly how a pub should be. This isn't a tourist bar; it's a real Irish pub. A family group of 6 of us dashed in to shelter from the rain. We were given a friendly welcome and enjoyed a couple...More

This may be the best / my favorite pub in all of Ireland, and we've been all over. Here's why, it doesn't feel like a tourist trap, it is real. It was not over-crowded, shoulder to shoulder standing room only, like many of the pubs...More

We stopped there twice for dinner during our holidays. It is a nice bar with traditional music and very lovely home made food. The owner is very attentive and friendly. The value for money is good.

Reheated food was served rapidly. Boiled bacon and cabbage with mash served like it used to be 30 years ago - and I was happy to get that - the stew my partner got was a watery, dark pond with mysterious and unappetising lumps floating...More
