Our trip along the Sky Road was disappointing, in part due to weather. Might have been better, and more dramatic, on a sunny day. The views were not great on a rainy cloudy day. If you travel it I recommend driving clock wise, so you...More

We took the drive. I’m not going to lie, parts of the drive were uncomfortable for me as the road was narrow for two cars and you’re on the cliff. However, there were always barriers between the road and the elevation. Go slow and take...More

We spent a lovely morning driving the Sky Road. Quite narrow in spots, we took our time and truly enjoyed all the sights along the way.

Driving south on the Wild Atlantic Way, approaching Clifden, Co. Galway - we decided to drive over the Sky Road. What magnificent views. It was a beautiful evening with a lovely sun setting. Will never forget this breathtaking view.
