Had a brilliant time learning to surf and discovered a new beach in Ballyconneely that I never knew was there. Dave and Danny were absolutely brilliant with my 3 young (8,9,12) girls and made sure they were always safe and enjoying themselves, which allowed me to enjoy falling off my board too! Great fun with the only problem being that my girls now want more...more...more surfing and “when can we go back to Ballyconneely” 😂

My sixteen year old daughter, 13 year old son and I ( 50 year old Dad) went coasteering. originally i only agreed to go as my son was nervous and wanted reassuring. While i love these activities im a little out of shape and was in semi retirement. Ironically on the morning my kids were whinging both feeling tired, sick and cold and i was the one driving it on. Five minutes in they were sold. Our guide was fantastic, the experience even though so simple in many ways was exhilarating and all whines and moans were forgotten instantly. Between the spectacuar scenery, the fantastic company of our other group members, the expertise of our guides and the Buzz of some the the unusual and exciting things we had to do it was a brilliant experience. The kids when questioned by their mum on return to base both gave it a 10/10. Loved it. Will def do again although a little sore today. some of those 50 year old muscles ahd not been used for awhile. ( by the way dont be afraid, On the course you only have to do what you want- no pressure.) We did it all but those who didnt do everything still loved it. We will be back.

Loved this coasteering adventure. It was amazing. The guides we’re great craic and very safe and knowledgeable. Having a mobile home out in ballyconeely I never would have thought about doing something like this but will definitely be recommending to everyone. The only downside to the session is that there was definitely too many people to the group which meant there was a lot of waiting around for people who were doing say, each jump. There was approx 16/17/18 in the group which was too many. The guides were A1 at managing everyone and it was most certainly not too many for them, but in terms of time it just was a bit too much waiting around. Over all would 100% recommend to a friend.

Stevie, along with Danny and Dave, hit it out of the park (an American baseball euphemism for “did a fantastic job”) They started with a thorough orientation that put some worried parents at ease because these guys demonstrated their concern for safety, communication and teamwork. This outfit is not reckless or thrill seeking. We did it properly.
We geared up and had a ball of a time! Jumping in and getting wet, but not cold because of out 5 mil wetsuits. Good and comfy.
Everyone has huge grins and whoops and yells.
Super fun!

Experience was great. Was really good fun and a good mixture of dive heights, climbing etc.
Only issue we would’ve had was the group was a bit big (15 I think), and we spent quite a bit of time waiting on others to jump one by one.
I think it would work better in smaller groups (5-6) and multiple jumps per person at each cliff.
Otherwise it was great. Would recommend to anyone interested in a thrill on the west of Ireland and don’t mind getting the hair wet!

Had a great time surfing, the weather was a bit iffy but the instructors made you feel really safe as they were in the water with us and constantly watching to make sure we were doing okay. We got lost getting to the beach but the guys were really accommodating and even took time to walk us through the steps while the rest of the group were on the water. All equipment was provided which was great as we were just passing through. Would definitely book this experience again.

12 of us went coasteering yesterday.It was definitely the highlight of our holiday ..We all loved it and Mike and the other 3 guides were extremely safety conscious but allowed us to have fun too..I would definitely recommend to give it a try as ii rarely go in to the sea let alone jump off cliffs....I had my 11 year booked in for surfing today but was offered a refund due to weather conditions without even asking.I would highly recommend Real Adventures

We did the coasteering on Saturday & it was amazing!! I can’t recommend it highly enough - it was such an adventure. We had the best guide Steve who was absolutely brilliant & made the experience even better…he was a complete legend who extended our time by an extra hour because we were having such a brilliant time!!
We had a really small group; just 5 of us & it was perfect. We all had the same sense of adventure, well up for jumping off the cliffs & exploring beautiful caves.
All of the above was helped massively by the gorgeous summer weather we got….the sky was blue & the water crystal clear (can’t even describe the colour of it!). We already can’t wait to do it again!!! Add it to your bucket list for Summer 2022!! You will love love love it!!

The whole experience was absolutely fantastic. The kids cannot stop talking about how good it was and how nice Mike was. The Dolphins coming in and swimming around the kids was the icing on the cake.
I cannot truly express how good this sunset surf was and we will definitely be back. We hope the dolphins will be back as well.

Booking with Real Adventures was a piece of cake. My friend recommended them to me, and I couldn't thank him enough afterwards.
We were a couple, and we had never been on a surf board before. The night before, we were extremely nervous and almost cancelled, but when we met Steve our guide, he put us at ease straight away.
The wet suits and boards were of the highest standard and exactly what we needed. When we arrived at the beach, Steve's instructions were easily understood and very much needed.
Within an hour, Steve had us both standing up on the boards, and we couldn't thank him enough. An absolute gentleman and a top of his class instructor. Thanks Steve. Will be back soon.

Coasteering is amazing! Explore Ireland’s west coast up close from a completely unique angle. Coasteering is a combination of adventure swimming, climbing, scrambling and cliff jumping where you will be exploring gullies, caves, cracks and different rock formations created by the sea.
