The girls spent half a hour in the school being shown the basics and the half a hour trek. The girls were well supervised and given great instruction one to one. Despite the poor... More

Location is absolutely fabulous, pure wild Connmara. Staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgable - horses picked for 2 kids (6 and 4) were perfect each time. Large selection of protective gears from kids to adults.

Both my toddler daughter and I had wonderful rides here! For a little one a very safe pony hand-led on a beautiful route, and for me a couple of rides. I recommend that you tell them your ability level when booking so they can be sure you will be with a like-level group. The ponies are exceptionally well cared for,... More

Lovely ladies, very welcoming. Our 2 children (6&9) went out for an hour's trek. Well cared for ponies in a very pretty setting. Róisín in particular was very professional and efficient.

We visited the lovely gardens. Mrs Brookes advised us to make sure we told any staff that we met that were garden visitors only . "If you don't" she said " they'll throw you up on a horse !"

I highly recommend anyone wanting to ride to try here. We had a party of 9 ranging from absolute beginner to a qualified instructor. The ride was adapted to encorporate all the abilities. The ponies were in great condition and well looked after, a priority when I was looking for somewhere to take everyone. While we were out riding my... More

Careful and caring guides. Beautiful trek on gentle poneys. We were impressed by the beauty and diversity of the grounds as well as the care for each rider's needs by the staff.

The Errislannan Riding Centre is not where it is indicated on the Tripadvisor map. Instead follow the road from Clifden to Ballyconneely some 3,5 km and then make a left turn to the Alcoch and Brown Memorial. The Riding Centre is a couple of km further down the narrow road, having passed the Memorial, to your right. My 10 year... More

Our daughter wanted to go riding. My wife and I had not been on horseback for 50 years. She was an accomplished horsewomen. We were staying down the road from Errislannan Riding Centre and stopped by for reservations. The owner who is 90 years old was delightful. Her staff made all of the necessary arrangements and we had an experience... More
