Great trails/walks. Brilliant new zipline! Tree walking also good but very expensive considering how short it is. Pales in comparison to some of the French equivalents - €50 for zipline & Octogon course for 2 people, all over in exactly 1 hour. This would get...More

Unfortunately, when we arrived, the activities were not open. We were really looking forward to having a go on the canoes, zip line and high ropes, archery and walks. It's a pity that the park isn't open all year round but I can understand why....More

I recently visited Castlecomer Discovery Park while in Kilkenny on a stag weelkend. Great fun on the high ropes course. The zipline is an absolute must! Reasonable price for both.

Our visit was very much geared towards entertaining our 2-and-a-half year old. It was perfect in this respect: elf and fairy village, playground and a long (tiring) walk were the ideal sleep-inducing combo. The food in the café was not great, so I would skip...More
