Tapped Inn

Does not fail to disappoint, straight up pub serving drink, nothing more, nothing less. Nothing more gastro than the bacon fries.

My wife and I heard about this pub for the ghost story tour, from a bartender in Cobh. We made the 9pm tour and it was fantistic!!! Mark and Dave were superb!! The cozy pub was a great place to sit and have a pint as well!!!

We were lucky enough during our trip to Kinsale, Ireland to be just a few steps away from this charming pub, full of character. We were welcomed warmly, although we had never been before, and Mary, who is quite a wonderful woman and the owner greeted us and then put more coal on the fire, so we would be warm.... More

We stopped in mid week for a pint. Pub has a lot of character and was worth the stop. Wasn't crowded and chatted a couple of the locals. Mary the owner/bartender? Lol super cute.

A nice spot in Kinsale for a pint. Grand central location. Relaxed vibe. The outdoor area in the back is charming. Great for live music.

We asked a friend who lives in Kinsale for the best place to take American friends out for a few drinks and Tap Tavern was his recommendation. This pub is perfect. It is small, cozy, has a fireplace and excellent beer on tap. A friend told us don't serve shots because 'whiskey is for sipping'. The local patrons were very... More

A great, untouched original old pub. Limited seating but encourages people to mix. Lovely wood fire. Guinness, Beamish and Murphys all on tap. Owner Mary and son Brian run with care, and I believe the latter also offers a 'ghost tour'. Enjoy!

I always try to find the local places away from the tourists, and was please to have found The Tap Tavern. It was a quiet kind of place for a pint, but that's just what I was looking for. Mary does a great job, tell her hi and enjoy a pint.

Stop in and say hello to Mary behind the bar. She is the owner and a great lady! While you are there sign up for the ghost tour, which is fun and factual at the same time.
