My partner and I were there for an hour and a half. The miniatures are definitely worth seeing and the ticket prices are just right. The place is in good condition and taken care of.
We were pleasantly surprised by the fully functioning drivable mini-boats which give you an opportunity to remotely operate them for quite a long time for just a euro.

Amazing little place ! This place surprised me. The models were done to perfection and the park / area was immaculate. I do not think it was worth €30 entry however that been said the whole family really enjoyed it inc the tweens. Also when you see the level of work etc that needs to go into this I really can understand it. So would I recommend it, 100%

All our family really enjoyed our visit to The Model Railway Village. It's s a beautiful, well thought out display of model trains traveling around miniture local villages and towns. We also did the train ride around Clonakilty which was really enjoyable, plus we got told some of the history of the area while on our journey

Well worth the visit. My wife and I booked the tour over a month ago. We were hugely surprised by the overall scale of the site. When you arrive you feel as if it's a real railway station.
Theres lots to see. We took the train ride through Clonakilty village which lasts about 20min. I had paid online for the site visit but I was disappointed to discover the train ride was an extra 12 euros. Why not make it part of the overall package. The Café was basic and could have more to offer. There were no model rail souvenirs associated with clonakilty to be had.

Our family (from 18 months to 69 years old) had a fantastic afternoon at the Model Railway Village. The model towns and train lines are fascinating the addition of the Alien Hunt had the adults (more so than the kids) really enthralled! The cafe and gift shop, indoor and outdoor play areas and train carriages see added bonuses. A trip round Clonakilty on "Choo Choo" the road train, is a must!

This is a gem to visit when you’re visiting Clonakilty in West Cork. The model villages are all well detailed and you can tell there’s a lot of love that gone into the whole set up. The train that tours the town was the icing on the cake. Recommend for family’s with children.

We visited West Cork Model Railway Village last Friday on our Staycation in Cork and I have to say this was without a doubt the highlight of our holiday !!.
It was absolutely brilliant 🤩.
We had our tour booked for 12.30 but we didn’t get there until after 1 pm and we were made feel so so welcome 😊.
From the lovely woman at reception to the lovely staff in the cafe , the man in the cafe having an aul singsong in the cafe to the 2.15pm Train Driver You were all without a doubt
Absolutely wonderful !!! . Our whole family loved it and we will 100% be returning again !!. We recommend West Cork Model Railway to everyone and it is without a doubt a must when visiting Cork !! .
P.S. your Apple Tart is without a doubt the best we have ever tasted 😋.

Well done Guys all your hard work and professionalism shines through from the minute you arrive in the car park to leaving Your premises .

Thank you for helping us make some wonderful memories.

We visited while staying in Inchydoney. We are three senior citizens. We’ll worth a visit for about an hour or so. Really great reproduction of local towns. We did not have grandchildren with us but there is an outdoor playground and you can drive boats (at an extra charge) or operate diggers ( also extra charge). Cafe and toilets available and also small gift shop. Easy parking and plenty of signboards giving information.

We had a brilliant day out here with our two kids (10&6). The models are brilliant with great attention to detail. We even got to sail little remote boats on the lake....just make sure to have change with you as these run on coins.
